Proposal of Action Research

As i mentioned before, this semester I'm going to prepare a proposal for my Action Research. My lecturer has delivered all the information about preparing a proposal today. My mind went ting tong for awhile because it's really tough. ！(◎_◎;) Not to say exactly tough la but there are a lot of works. Imagine I have to prepare this proposal within 6 weeks along with my data collection of AR as well as my practicum thingy.

Okay enough of rubbish. I will just share the content of proposal for AR. Fyi, Im just sharing what i have been taught in the lecture. So it might be different from others proposal for AR. Feel free to comment to share. (◐‿◑)

So, now i roughly have the idea of how to prepare a proposal for my AR and it helps for my final report in semester 8. As for my model of AR, i think i will choose John Elliott's model. This is because it allows me to prepare other alternatives for my intervention during my general plan. I think it saves my time if my intervention happens to be unsuccessful (touch wood).

My final practicum will start on next week. Oh my... I haven't got my mental well prepared yet. Thursday and Friday are school holidays for Chinese New Year. I guess I'm going to sacrifice my CNY this year just to get my works done. I still have assignment for EDU3107 some more! (Ｔ＿Ｔ)

A drawing speaks my mind and I

In one of the lesson, the lecturer asked us to draw a picture of what's in our mind at that moment. A lot of things i would like to draw. Yeah I'm quite greedy in some ways. Here I am going to attach the picture that i hv drawn, and let u know more about me. B-)

It's not easy to review our thoughts in front of people, although they are just classmates. Through this drawing, i was able to know myself even better. I know what i want; i know what's my desires; i know what's my hope.

Okay. Let's begin. lol. The first thing i drew is $. Yes I'm quite sad about my savings because it can be described as empty. People usually say money can't do everything for us. I do agree but right at the moment, i need $ to achieve my desires. My desires to travel, to do charity, to give to my parents, to buy things that i want. U can see a plane on the top right. It's because, right now, my first hobby is travelling. The angpows represents I'm thinking of my 'income' during CNY. Teehee...

My 2nd drawing is the flowers on the left that represents my CNY mood. I can't wait to go home and celebrate CNY! Although it's only 6 days. My school offers only 4 days holidays. I think i will, i must and i should apply for 2 more days, of course the more the better. hahaha ngeee

3rd drawing on the bottom right. Try to guess what building is that. The flags can give u some clues i guess. Yes thats a school. Im worrying about my 3rd practicum and future posting. I have to prepare a proposal for my thesis a.k.a action research. The toughest part of PISMP, i guess. With my poor English, I need to struggle a lot, both grammar and content. About my posting, let's share u a secret, i wish to be posted in Langkawi/Labuan, because duty-free ma. Anyway, Penang is not a bad choice for me B-)

Other than that, did u see a small human in the middle? haha thats me! It has no frame for it. Coz i like freedom. I don like to be controlled. So i am a rebel in some ways. heee. I didn't any other people in the drawing. Coz i like to be alone. I always go out alone, shop alone, walk alone, eat alone. huhu but i don like the feeling of being lonely :/ No man is an island. I agreed. But I'm scared of commitment. :w

The Biggest Flower on Earth: Rafflesia

Rafflesia is very famous in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. But it's not the only place in Malaysia where you can find rafflesia. My hometown, Lundu in Sarawak is another spot to see the flowers. It's about one hour drive from Kuching town. A lot of travellers thought it is difficult or far to drive to my hometown. Im hereby to clarify that it is very SIMPLE. There's only one route to travel from Kuching to Lundu via Batu Kawa route. The road is just nice with full tar. U will not get lost while on ur way here, this i can assure u.

The Lundu town is a small district that has a few places of attractions such as Pandan Beach, Siar Beach and Gunung Gading National Park. During the school holidays or festivals, the town is usually full of outsiders from Kuching. The national park is just a few minutes drive from my house. I am not so sure about the entrance fee but I guess it isn't that pricey, below than RM10 (I dunno because it's free for me to enter, teehee). There are resorts and several waterfalls in the national park. It's a nice location for u to do hiking when the weather is good. I usually go to the park to photograph the rafflesia. Well, it's just behind my house right? hahaha! Enjoy the photos below!

Amazing huh? Besides rafflesia, Lundu is also famous with its beaches. The popular resort is Retreat Resort. If you have more time, you can travel to Sematan as well, which is about 20 minutes drive from Lundu town. Seafood and local food is the must-try in Lundu town. It's fresh and cheap. Teehee. Quick Review 10: New Header Picture!

Yeay! It's almost Chinese New Year! Hows my new header pic? My own design and photo. (☆_☆)

Today I went to my practicum school to meet the headmistress. She is a very nice lady. I have a quick look at the school environment. Looks peaceful and fresh. I am going to teach there for 3 months plus 1 month of internship. It's going to be a nice place for me to practice my teaching.

Ops, it's midnight. I am only able to update my blog now since the Wi-Fi was terrible. 晚安 

No Revolution; No Resolution

The first week of my final year has just passed. Same environment, same class, same sitting position, same hostel, same room, same faces; everything seems just the same like last year. This semester is full of challenges. Although only 3 subjects:

• TSL3113 Action Research (I) - Methodology
• EDU3107 Guidance and Counseling for Children
• PRK3103 Practicum Phase (III)

I was told by lecturer that I need to prepare a proposal for my research, and start to collect data during my practicum. Thesis is the toughest part for me because my English is still very bad (I failed my CPT fyi (｡-_-｡) , as well as the article and presentation for next semester.

So much jealous to see most of my same-age-friends have graduated last year and able to earn money earlier than me. Well, God always has His arrangement. I need to play hard during my final year. Study hard? erk.. Im too old for study! haha! No matter how much I study, I can never achieve 1st class to proud my parents anymore. No more.

Aim higher unless u are willing to be in the bottom class. I wanna bring good life to my parents as I'm the only child. No one can make them proud besides me. No one is going to take care of them besides me. Im not someone who has plenty of siblings and can depend on them. Im not a lady who can just find a good man to get married. It's easy to be satisfied if you have other supports. U, will never understand the only child.

I don want to be a good guy. Simply because I'm too bad to be a better person. Lots of rules to follow. I'm bad, but i never cross the bottom line. haha.. Well, sometime i do, as no one is perfect ma. I kinda wondering those who speak good rather than do good. Annoying isn't it? (-_-)zzz

Okay, I have done my EDU powerpoint. Gonna rest for awhile before the next journey. Chill~ ( ´ ▽ ` )ﾉ

Inequality is happening..

Inequality happens everywhere and every second. Even a small kid feel uneasy if u ever treat them unequally. What more to say an adult? As a teacher trainee, we learn how to be fair and square in a lesson, regardless of the the students' background, gender or race. This is to prevent the high affective filter in learning.

I am so much appreciate to see my result of semester 6 few weeks ago. As I never expect I will achieve this pointer. I even screamed at home and hugged my mom. haha >.< However, I totally disappointed with some subjects. I can really see the inequality in my result. In IPG, after ur result has been released, u can't complain and ask for recheck. As they said it is official and we are deserved for it.

I did very well in my exam. I put 100% effort during the revision week to study. I still remember when I came out from the exam hall, I almost cry for my TSL3111 because I thought I did my essay wrongly. Erk... I guess it is something about "the checklist of teaching resources from internet". I used my own checklist elements instead of following the notes given by other campus. I thought I am dead at that moment. Thanks God, I get an A for it! Really out of my expectation, as I supposed I might only get a B or B+. As for Language Assessment paper, I really surprised that my lecturer gave me an A. Till now, I'm still confused with the principles of assessments (reliability, validity...)

Happy New Year!

It's 2014! It's my final year of undergraduate program! I can't wait to get the job and earn more money for traveling. Teehee. Everyone has a new resolution for new year. This year I don think I wanna set any target, so that at the end of the year I don have to check whether I have achieved it or not. Becoming lazy year by year. 

Right now, I am sitting in my class for a lecture. It's a sunny afternoon. And it's only the first day of my semester 7, but I am so sleepy since this morning. I thought I will be energetic for my final year. haha.. Everyone looks fresh in the morning, but few fall asleep in the class.

First day of lecture... Yoha and Esther are wearing new baju kurung. But people are more excited with Razki's new phone - iPhone 5S (Gold). Zizi has a new pencil case and new bag. Tiffany has a new hairstyle. Gee is still absent as the flight ticket is sold out for yesterday. 

Hopefully we all can survive this final year with a healthy body. lol
