The Biggest Flower on Earth: Rafflesia

Rafflesia is very famous in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. But it's not the only place in Malaysia where you can find rafflesia. My hometown, Lundu in Sarawak is another spot to see the flowers. It's about one hour drive from Kuching town. A lot of travellers thought it is difficult or far to drive to my hometown. Im hereby to clarify that it is very SIMPLE. There's only one route to travel from Kuching to Lundu via Batu Kawa route. The road is just nice with full tar. U will not get lost while on ur way here, this i can assure u.

The Lundu town is a small district that has a few places of attractions such as Pandan Beach, Siar Beach and Gunung Gading National Park. During the school holidays or festivals, the town is usually full of outsiders from Kuching. The national park is just a few minutes drive from my house. I am not so sure about the entrance fee but I guess it isn't that pricey, below than RM10 (I dunno because it's free for me to enter, teehee). There are resorts and several waterfalls in the national park. It's a nice location for u to do hiking when the weather is good. I usually go to the park to photograph the rafflesia. Well, it's just behind my house right? hahaha! Enjoy the photos below!

Amazing huh? Besides rafflesia, Lundu is also famous with its beaches. The popular resort is Retreat Resort. If you have more time, you can travel to Sematan as well, which is about 20 minutes drive from Lundu town. Seafood and local food is the must-try in Lundu town. It's fresh and cheap. Teehee. Apple WWDC 2012

since last year i will always check out WWDC(Worldwide Developers Conference) of Apple.. and yeah im a big fan of apple though i hv only one of their productions. let's get started..

iOS6 (Coming soon in September 2012)

this is my main concern as i don hv a macbook. but i was quite disappinted with iOS6 announcement as its doesnt come with many special features on iPad. And for iPad 1 user, sorry u r not qualified to update to iOS6, iOS5 is the end for u. WWDC2012 focused on Siri.. a lot of upgrades.. u may refer to Engadget for more description of Siri. but the upgrades are mainly for iPhone (4S). and they r bringing it to the new iPad! ONLY! my iPad 2 wont be able to accept Siri!

before that i guess i hv to mention why i didnt update my tablet to the new iPad. why? bcos it's heavier, thicker and hotter! totally opposite to the slogan of iPad 2 "it's thinner, lighter and faster". bcos of its Retina Display, it become thicker and heavier.. and the temperature of the gadget is one of the problems too. i didnt consider to update my iPad since its announcement, though it have a 5MP camera. let's hope for the best in the 4th generation iPad (2013).

the announcement of the new iPad was making me disappointed. so as the WWDC 2012.. only new Macbook Pro and Mountain Lion OS X make sense. the Macbook Pro with Retina Display is pretty awesome! the price is awesome as well: RM6799!! OMG... it's my dream, and forever will be.

i've used this gadget for a month, and i hv no complain about it. hoho and few days ago i jz updated it into 4.0.3 OS Ice Cream Sandwich! the S-Pen is my favourite! especially when using it in S-Memo and S-Note for drawing and note-taking. Here are some screenshots from my galaxy note:

my favourite apps besides S-Memo and S-Note are Instagram (do follow me: Geodechosen1), Whatsapp and etc. i don use it for gaming, i preferred my iPad 2 bcos of its smoothness..

well some of the reviews saying that the screen is too big, but it doesnt matter for me, i knew exactly it's designed for me (oh please~ ya i know~).. hik hik hik... depends on individual la, perhaps u can hv the latest Galaxy S3~~ (^_< winks!)

2011 Most Memorable Highlights of My Life

Number TEN: Medical check-up with blood test

This... was my first time of doing blood test. I bet i mentioned about my feeling during the process. I saw stars, i swear. Nearly fainted, not bcos of the blood! hey don laugh!

hohoho my first time of being invited to a Datuk's house for CNY dinner, along with my director, lecturer and my secretary-Miss Phyllida! oh yeahh it's my honour of course! Yalah probably u feel nothing bout it but i m proud bha...

Number EIGHT: Logos Hope Visiting

it was my 2nd time of visiting such big ship. Yet it's a different experience! at least i managed to take photo with the crews.. Hehehehe... and they were awesome!!

it was under Bina Insan Guru Program that has to be gone through by all trainee teacher in IPG. it was nightmare for me, yet it can be fun from some aspects: rainfall at one of the nights, and almost all of my belongings were wet and we slept in a hut.

yeahhh!! after sems of waiting.. my class had successfully arrived KL! a great experience it was! yes it really was!! enjoyable, fun, and many new knowledges obtained!! woohooo!! first time i used MAS Airbus! hahaha so big and i can walk here and there with no limitation.. don jealous!

Yeah.. the final film of Harry Potter series.. it has accompanied me since 8 years ago.. 8 of us from the campus rushing to watch the première to celebrate the ending of Harry Potter series.. hehehehe

Number THREE: Organizing the celebration

As the chairperson of this event, I felt happy, and tired. this was my 2nd time. and i guess it will be the last for me to handle. i hv a good team helping me behind, and the result was very satisfying. at least the audience  enjoyed it so much that night. hohoho how do i look in the 2nd pic?

Number TWO: Back to school as a teacher

huhuhu... it's different to enter a school as a teacher compare to as a student. and the School Based Experience taught me so much of being a good teacher. i jz love to see the students, and see the teacher taught the students in various ways. and that's y i chose for becoming a teacher, not other career.

Number FOUR: Novels by Rick Riordan

Harry Potter series had came to an end.. so i hv to find another series so that i wont get bored with my life. This is it! Novels by Rick Riordan, include Percy Jackson series (full 5 novels), The Kane Chronicles, and the latest one: The Heroes of Olympus. I bought Chinese version. Am not good in English >.<

Number FIVE: 3 Sets of Chinese Novels

Again, it's Chinese novels. The complete series of the story of 3 emperors respectively, by Er-Yue-He. The 3 China emperors are Kang-Xi, Yong-Zheng & Qian-Long. The novels are based on the true history and adding a few legendary elements to make it more interesting.

SO... these are my five best collections in the year 2011. I didnt receive a lot of presents this year, hopefully next year will have improvement. Muahahahah~~
