Now it's only the 1st week of January 2011... and i'm planning the homecoming for mid year holidays... >.< seriously, this is the typical life of living at outside: counting the remaining days of going home, praying the flight tickets can be very cheap...
this is the 2nd/3rd year i've been here... time flies... how many times i return to and fro Kota Kinabalu International Airport and Kuching International Aiport per year? more than 10 times of course... my wish is to go home every month:
January - back to Keningau after year end holidays
End of January - homecoming for cny holidays
Early of February - coming back after cny holidays
Mid of March - going home for mid-term holidays
April - any holidays?!
End of May - going home for semester break
End of June - coming back
July - any holidays?!
End of August - going home for mid-term break
Early of September - back to institute
October - any holidays?!
November - year end holidays.. starts.. ^O^
In short, April, July and October don't offer any holidays which allow me to fly back to my hometown. haiz....
BUT!!!!
let me analyse to u slowly... there's still hope for u to fly back on April July and Oct though no any long period holidays is given...
first... check ur calender whether there's public holidays on Mon/Fri.. thus, plus the weekend, u can hv 3 nights sleeping on ur own bed at home! AWESOME! and u don hv to worry if there's any activity on that Saturday, simply bcos... all those trainee who live nearby will go home! unless --> the authorities do it PURPOSELY... in fact, it's impossible for u to do any activity on Saturday if Friday is public holidays, but, DOESN'T MEAN THAT WILL NOT HAPPEN.. =.=||
second... AIR ASIA always offers cheap fare: only RM15 from KK - KCH... which means less than RM50 for a return trip... isn't it valuable?! furthermore, if u SUDDENLY have activities during that weekend, jz forfeit the ticket la.... since it's very cheap, no big loss what.. (not recommended of course, don fire me k) ....
third... if Friday + Saturday + Sunday are holidays, a total of 3 days u will be at home. thus there's no need for u to do pre book for the luggage (for air asia only, it's not worth if u use MAS but only go back for 3 days, right~~)... now u have saved more... ngeeehehehehehe~~~ (evil smile)
see? it's not that difficult to fly home even for a short short period... the question is... u dare to challenge ur luck?
